Geological Formation

Gypsum is formed from groundwater solutions of gypsum that evaporate, leaving a porous gypsum aggregate. The hydration level is key to a deposit's value. FOUR J Gypsum consists of 32.6% CaO, 46.5% SO3, and 20.9% H2O.

Environmental Compliance and Reclamation

 The FOUR J gypsum mining project's Environmental Management Plan (EMP) ensures environmentally and socially responsible gypsum extraction, aligning with legal and environmental standards. It outlines management and monitoring strategies, mitigation measures, and best practices to minimize environmental impacts. Reclamation involves restoring the land to its original condition using onsite materials to promote vegetation, following the AME Reclamation Guide and the Ministry's Reclamation Code.
